Episode 1 In the city of Florence in 1476, the Assassin Giovanni Auditiore monologue about how, hidden behind the Enlightenment, Renaissance corruption betrayal, and murder are rampant, but that in order to preserve justice, honor and safety of his family, he will fight. From the shadows, he quietly watched her family enjoying themselves at dinner, before heading to the streets of Florence moonlight. Outside, he ambush party mercenaries led by Rodrigo Borgia as they attempted to sneak out of town under the cover of darkness.
Giovanni was able to kill two mercenaries and disabling the third, but Borgia escapes in the confusion.Giovanni brings the injured person to his master, Lorenzo de 'Medici, and warns Lorenzo that he had heard rumors of an approaching event that will trigger a power shift. Lorenzo had interrogated prisoners; under torture on the rack, the prisoner admitted that in the city of Milan, on the day after Christmas, the Duke of Milan would be killed on the feast of St. Stephen, when a church bell for the twelfth and final time. Giovanni races to find the Duke of Milan and the Mass in the church, but not to intervene before Duke killed. The killers were quickly dispatched by the Duke and Giovanni guard himself, but efforts Giovanni tries to subdue one of the killers for interrogation fail, as a guard killed a killer last. Giovanni one killer body search, found a purse of gold coins stamped with the symbol of Venice.Returning home, Giovanni watches his children play chess, advising her younger son Ezio on how to become a better player. Personally, he monologues that the death of the Duke of Milan has robbed Medici of a powerful ally, and that even now, his enemies will plan the next steps. However, he now knows where to find them ...Episode 2Giovanni arrives in Venice to investigate the possibility that those who ordered the murder of the Duke of Milan was hiding in the city. His investigation took him to St Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace, where, after killing the guard to cover his tracks, he eavesdrops on a group of people (Silvio and Marco Barbarigo) conversing in a room nearby. He saw they sent a courier with a letter to the 'master' in Rome, insisting its delivery is very important. Giovanni tracks and intercepts the courier in the back alleys of Venice, after a long struggle, Giovanni beat courier and tries to interrogate, but the courier refused to talk, and kill him in the blade Giovanni. Enraged, Giovanni took the letter, which bears the seal of the Barbarigo family, and returned to Florence.Back in Florence, Giovanni presents the letter to Lorenzo de 'Medici: however, encrypted, written in a strange code. Lorenzo aide, who Gonfaloniere Justice Uberto Alberti said it will take some time to decode, and sends Giovanni home to rest, promising to call when it is done. A priest in Medici's service (Father Antonio Maffei) translates the letter and presents it to Uberto, who said Fr. Maffei to summon Giovanni and Lorenzo, but warned him to tell no one the contents of the letter. Back at the villa, Giovanni enjoys time with his wife and family, before being summoned by Maffei to the palace. Ezio son is confused why he had to leave so late at night, and asked to go with him, but Giovanni refused.In the palace, Uberto claims they were unable to translate the letter, and therefore the only way to see who it is intended for is to take him to Rome and deliver personally. Regardless of the danger, Giovanni volunteers to take it; Lorenzo ordered him to seek his enemies ... and show no mercy.Back in Venice, which Barbarigos, with Rodrigo Borgia in their heads, prayed "May the Father of Understanding with us!" (Confirming their Templar) and prepare for battle, set them in a symbolic sword akrab.Episode 3Giovanni arrives in Rome and gave the letter as ordered, which is passed through the crowd until it reaches Borgia; Borgia going straight to the Vatican, where he gave a letter to Pope Sixtus IV. The couple discussed the fact that Lorenzo de 'Medici is unwilling to bow to the authority of the Pope, when Borgia suggests he could use the power of the Pope agreed to provide spiritual support and military assistance to efforts to restore order in Florence.When Borgia leaves, he is followed by Giovanni, but he managed to give Giovanni slip, and disappears into St Peter's Basilica. As Giovanni investigates inside, he was confronted by Borgia, who addresses him by name and said that what follows next is his creation. He appreciates that Giovanni skills will be used many causes Templar, and that if Giovanni joins them, he will live to see the 'new world'. When Giovanni refuses, and comments the only way this will end is with an Assassin's blade in Borgia's throat, Borgia grinned "We'll see", and ordered his men to attack. Giovanni brave fight and defeat the attackers, but felt in the chest with a throwing knife by Borgia, and a hidden blade broken. Although he survived, Borgia use disorders to escape.Mortally wounded, Giovanni returns home to Florence, where she tended to his wounds. He claimed he feared that the Duke of Milan is just the beginning of the murder conspiracy, and that the next blow will strike Florence, he feared for the safety of de 'Medici, allies and himself.Suddenly, Father Antonio Maffei, along with some gunmen from the city guard, arrived at the house, ask for Giovanni. Giovanni Federico childless parents told the guards he had left, and then out through a hidden passage.Back in Rome, Borgia and his fellow Templars agreed that the main threat to their plans is Giovanni, but Borgia says he has a plan to deal with the Assassin, and that with him gone, nothing will stand in their way.Back in Florence, Giovanni seek opportunities streets (pause for reflection when he sees Ezio flirting with her boyfriend on the road), monologuing that dark days approaching Florence and time running out, the final battle will begin. He stated that no matter what happens, she and her children are "Auditore da Firenze, and we are Assassins!"
