Beowulf: The Mobile Game

Selasa, 24 April 2012

Did you know that Beowulf is an Old English poem notable for its length at 3183 lines. The poem, whose author is unknown, is untitled in the manuscript, but has been known as Beowulf since the early 19th century.
In the poem, Beowulf, a hero of the Geats, battles three antagonists: Grendel, who is attacking the Danish mead hall called Heorot and its inhabitants; Grendel’s mother; and, later in life after returning to Geatland (modern south Sweden) and becoming a king, an unnamed dragon. He is mortally wounded in the final battle, and after his death he is buried in a barrow in Geatland by his retainers.
Gameloft has created a java mobile game equivalent of the currently showing movie Beowulf. Play the powerful warrior Beowulf in a dangerous fantasy world, full of massive sea serpents, giant monsters and dragons.
  • The game’s storyline true to the movie: relive the events of the movie.
  • Battle some of the largest monsters ever seen on mobile phones (a 150-meter long Sea Serpent, etc.).
  • Advanced fighting system using scene elements (a boulder for crushing groups of enemies, etc.).
  • More than 15 special moves, including the “”Carnal Fury”" to destroy a troop of enemies in a blink.
